Where can I check to see if I'm registered?

You can check online.

How do I update my registration info?

All changes to your registration, besides the runner’s name, can be made free of charge. Simply log in to your Enmotive account to change it. Instructions on accessing/creating your account.

Can I transfer my registration (bib) to another person?

To Transfer Your Registration to Another Runner:

  1. The original runner must log into their Enmotive account and scroll down to find their existing race registration under “Current and Upcoming Events.”
  2. Click the blue “Actions” button to the right of the race name, and then “Transfer Registration.”
  3. Enter the new runner’s email address to begin the transfer process.
  4. The new runner will then receive an email from Enmotive with a link to complete the transfer.
  5. After clicking the transfer link in the Enmotive email, scroll down to click the green “Accept transfer” button.
  6. Complete the registration process, and pay the $10 transfer fee.
  7. Once completed, the new runner will receive an email confirmation, and the original runner will receive an email confirming their registration has been cancelled.

If the transaction is not completed by the new runner within 48 hours of the email sent, the transfer request is cancelled, and the registration will remain in the original runner’s name.

Can I move up or down a category?

Yes. You may switch from one race to another as long as the race that you’re switching to isn’t already sold out.

  1. To do so, simply log into your account (you may need to reset your password first).
  2. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your upcoming race on the right-hand side of the screen.
  3. Click “View registration.” You’ll see your current race distance under “Category.”
  4. Just click “Edit,” choose the distance you’d like to switch to.
  5. You’ll be prompted to review the rest of your registration, and re-sign the waiver for the new distance.

If you’re switching up to the half marathon or full marathon, then you’ll be required to pay the difference in price. We don’t offer refunds for the difference in price when switching down to the half marathon or 5k. Instructions on accessing/creating your Enmotive account.

Can I transfer to another race?

Yes! To transfer your entry to another Ventures Endurance event, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Enmotive account and scroll down to find your race registration under “Current and Upcoming Events.”
  2. Click the blue “Actions” button to the right of the race name, and then “Defer to Another Event.”
  3. Locate your desired event location in the dropdown menu, then click ‘Search.’
  4. From there, click your desired race category, then follow the onscreen prompts. Once you complete payment, you’re all set and your new registration will appear in your account!

All event transfers incur a $10 fee plus the cost difference of the new race category you choose. If your new event category is cheaper than your current category, you will not be refunded the difference in cost.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds under any circumstances, including event cancellation or postponement. We spend all the money we receive from runners on preparing for each event in advance, from buying all the shirts and medals to paying for business operations, including our employees’ salaries. This means that if an event is canceled or postponed because of weather, pandemics, or other forces beyond our control, we won’t be able to provide refunds. In these rare situations, we’ll convert the race to a virtual one and mail you your full race goodie bag.

Can I register on race day?

In the unlikely event that the race isn’t sold out, you can still register online up until packet pickup ends on race day.

What about GPS course measurements?

Your GPS measurement of the course is bound to be different and will most likely show the distance covered to be “long.” This is normal, and here’s a very technical explanation why: In GPS We Trust.

Where are the bathrooms?

There will be bathrooms at the Start/Finish and on the course Mile 6 and 9.8 / 12.2 at the intersection of Bay & Cushing Road area.

Where are the water stops?

There will be five water stops during the half marathon: Mile 2 (water), Mile 4.5 (water + Gatorade), Mile 6.5 (water + energy gel), Mile 9 (water + Gatorade), and Mile 11 (water). The 5k will have one water stop at Mile 2.

Is there a time limit for the half marathon?

Yes, to be fair to our race marshals and water stop volunteers, the official end time is 3:30 hours for the half marathon. However, we keep race signs and water stops up until the final person finishes. The later water stops may be self-serve after that point. For timing, we’ll keep a watch running until the final person is in. If you’re not past mile 10 by 3 hours, we’ll divert you straight to the finish (eliminating the Moody Point section), but you’ll still receive a time and medal!

Are the roads closed for the race?

With the exception of the downtown stretch, the course will not be closed to vehicle traffic. We have police and race marshals throughout the course, but please be aware of traffic on the course. We put a lane of cones for the runners in high-traffic areas. Please stay within the cones for your own safety.

Can I run with headphones?

For safety reasons, we discourage the use of headphones on the course. Truthfully, this is one of the prettiest routes you’ll find, both visually and aurally. Why not take a day off from the buds and enjoy the sounds of Spring and a “running conversation” with some new friends?

Can I run with my dog or baby stroller?

Unfortunately, no. There will be too many runners to add dogs and strollers into the mix.

Will there be medical staff?

Yes, there will be an ambulance at the finish.

Is there an age limit?

Runners must be at least 16 years of age or older to run in the full or half marathon. There is no age limit for the 5k.

Articles of clothing that are unclaimed after the race will be donated. Loco Races is not liable for any losses or theft that may occur.

Shirts are available in men’s and women’s sizes (S-XXL) sizes. There will be no size exchanges on race day. Please make sure your size is correct in during the registration process.
